9K a year Cadi Company is an established manufacturer and distributor of metals for over 45 years.
We are looking for a CNC Machine Operator to join our team.
The CNC Machine Operator should be detail oriented, dependable, and responsible for operating a variety of CNC equipment.
The ideal candidate for the CNC Machine Operator position should have experience operating CNC machines as well as be familiar with quality inspection tools.
The CNC Machine Operator must be a team player and committed to delivering the best quality to our customers!
Responsibilities:
Operate a variety of multi axis CNC turning and milling centers with Fanuc and Okuma controls.
Ability to read drawings and specifications with an understanding of geometric tolerances and dimensions.
Understanding of tool holders, cutting tools, boring bars, fixtures, inserts, and other accessories used on various machines is a plus.
Use quality inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, bore gauge, and tape measure.
Read and interpret work instruction.
Follow safety procedures.
Keep work area neat, clean, and organized.
Ability to work independently and as a team member.
Willing to work overtime as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Experience with CNC machines (1-2 years a plus) Math skills and understand decimal / fractions (shop math) Excellent attitude and attendance a must High school diploma or equivalent The CNC Operator spends almost 100% of their time on the shop floor in a fast-paced environment with some heavy lifting (50lbs).
