In addition to our work with children and families, we provide individual, family, and couples counseling to adults.

We believe our clients are the experts on themselves and we are the guides to help them manage ways to overcome what is currently getting in the way of living the life they deserve.
We provide a strength-based, solution-focused approach to help alleviate unwanted symptoms and utilize a variety of modalities including solution-focused therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to increase positive change.
In addition to our friendly and down-to-earth approach, we only employ therapists who are licensed to practice therapy in the State of Connecticut.
Position DescriptionAs the Part-time Front Desk Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for many of our clients, providers, and community partners.
We are looking for someone who is great with people, understands the complexities of mental health, and is a team player for a team of passionate mental health clinicians.
You will understand the need to be patient, and courteous, and deliver superior customer service to each new caller and client who enters our office.
Responsibilities:
Scheduling new appointmentsInsurance Verification and AuthorizationsManage a waiting room of 15 people at any given timeProblem-solve incoming inquiries from clients and providersLight housekeeping so our space is always welcomingFiling, Faxing, Copying, etc.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a medical receptionist preferredExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsA love for working with people!Experience with behavioral health services is always preferredStrong computer skillsMS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) required.
Previous Customer Service experience is helpfulMust be efficient with strong attention to detailUnderstand confidentiality and uphold the highest standardsMust have strong skills in organization and planningAbility to work independently and good problem-solving skillsProven ability to manage projects that require multi-taskingAbility to prioritize tasks, exercise sound judgment when neededAbility to work Saturdays & Sundays Education:
