Day to Day Responsibilities:
  • Process purchase orders to fulfill materials and service requirements for Production at the direction of responsible party.
  • Manage sub-tiers including periodic follow-up of status on all open PO s.
  • Coordinate with Production, the scheduling and reporting of incoming material delivery and need dates.
  • Process purchase orders for all MRO (maintenance, repair and operating) supplies
  • Implement appropriate sourcing strategies to control the company s purchased material costs/inventory levels and to assure an adequate source of supply.
  • Manage all contracts and agreements for products and services.
  • With support of Business Unit Manager, issue blanket orders for strategic inventory components based on their forecasted use.
  • Ensure compliance to quality initiatives, including applicable FAR and DFAR clauses as well as AS9100 requirements.
  • In coordination with Quality and Finance: Track RMA s and ensure AP is issued credits accordingly and Track key suppliers, cost, quality, and delivery performance and issue quarterly reports.
  • Utilize software (MAS 200, Excel, Word and Outlook) for data reporting.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • HS Diploma at a minimum. A 2 year degree or 4 year degree is preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years buying experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Must have strong computer skills with emphasis on Microsoft Office Excel
  • Experience in purchasing for a manufacturing entity
  • Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) software such as: MAS 200, SAP, or Oracle
  • Must be highly organized and possess strong interpersonal and communications skills.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
